POCO HTC | Poco Graphite developed this porous graphite grade to have higher thermal properties and higher strength than existing graphitic foam type materials. POCO HTC is a solid material with an open pore structure created without binders. POCO HTC has a lower density than many other thermal management materials such as metals or metal matrix composites. It has two-thirds the thermal conductivity of copper with only one tenth the weight. The combination of open pore structure and dense graphite matrix is a unique combination that should provide high overall heat transfer effectiveness. POCO HTC, still considered in a development stage material, has many applications in the thermal management field. It features: - Sound adsorption capability
- RF Shielding capability
- Chemically inert material
